The women's 100 hurdles at this year's U.S. track and field championships can only be described on hell on wheels as a bunch of young ladies will be battling it out for the top spot.
Check out all of the ladies in the U.S.A that are under 12.8 seconds.
12.53 Brianna Rollins (Nik) Rome DL 06/05
12.54 Dawn Harper-Nelson (Nik) Rome DL 06/05
12.56 Queen Harrison (Sauc) Hengelo IWC 06/08
12.58 Kristi Castlin (Nik) Drake R Inv 04/26
12.68 Kellie Wells (Nik) Drake R Inv 04/26
12.71 -Sharika Nelvis (ArSt) Mt. SAC R Inv 04/19
12.73 Jackie Coward (adi) Drake R Inv 04/26
12.74 Lolo Jones (Asics) Marrakech IWC 06/08
12.75 Tenaya Jones (StarA) Clermont 05/31
12.80 *Bridgette Owens (Fl) NCAA East 05/31
While Rollins has 'only' gone 12.53 seconds this season, her 12.24 American Record says that if she's on she's going to win the race.
Gotta think Dawn-Harper-Nelson and Queen Harrison are going to be right there as their 12.54 and 12.56's respectively indicate they are in great shape.
Saw Lolo Jones run a decent 12.74 a few weeks back and her experience alone should be enough to make the finals and perhaps challenge for a podium appearance.
Track and field is always hard to find but here is what I know about the championships that will be broadcast.
